Allan Ishac has been a student of A Course in Miracles since 1986 and is a regular contributor to Miracles Magazine. His debut novel, The Mystic In The Mews: A Metaphysical Adventure Story, was published in 2024 and is based on the teachings of ACIM. He is also the best-selling author of New York’s 50 Best Places To Find Peace And Quiet and New York’s 50 Best Places To Take Children, as well as The Guide To Odd New York. Currently, Allan is working on the biography of Carol Howe, an ACIM master teacher and the author of Never Forget To Laugh, the biography of Bill Thetford, co-scribe of the Course. Carol’s inspiring life story will be published in 2026. In March 2025, Allan will launch his new YouTube channel, “Stories That Defy All Rational Explanation.” Each inspiring, 15-minute episode will feature a guest sharing an amazing coincidence, astounding synchronicity, or “impossible” story, reminding us that these are not random events, but meaningful messages pointing us to miraculous possibilities.
